I want to make sure I replace all of the files, and the correct files. Whenever I run a new updater and something goes wrong, I first have a stroke, then when I regain consciousness, I stomp up and down my hallway yelling at my cats.

Can someone please let me know exactly what is meant by "...most of the cart files".? I normally replace the exact files listed in the Updater forum (nothing more, nothing less).

Hi Tim

Unless you have made major modifications to the website files then running the updater is straightforward.

You upload all the files via FTP from the updater and that includes the updatestore.php / asp file that you run in your browser. Some people have been known to leave the previous updatestore file on the server and run the old updatestore file and then run in to issues. That file always change to accommodate changes to the database tables etc.

Backup all your site files & database prior to updating just in case something goes pear shaped. Hope that helps

Thanks Steve. I was just hoping to not have to replace every single file because when I do that I end up overwriting something I shouldn't. But I went ahead and replaced every file anyway. There are a few issues that I need to work out now with css but not urgent.

Hi Tim
Did you get these issues sorted out now? I had a look at the site and couldn't see the things you mentioned.

Vince,

I did get the major issues sorted. I posted here prior to applying the updater. I am still working on a few css issues but they are not urgent.

Thanks for your help!
