Hi All,

If i set the quick entry drop down in admin to "Price", i have the option to add an amount £x to all prices in one go.

For Black Friday I want to reduce e.g. 100 products by 30%, but then after the 30/11/20 I want to raise these prices back up, is there a better way of doing this?

Is it downloading the product inventory, adjusting the prices, then uploading the csv file back up to the database?

You can enter a negative amount there and still use the quick entry, but I think a better way is to create a coupon/discount and assign it to those products.
You want to encourage them to make the purchase by showing them the item is discounted.
It will also be easier as you can set the discount to expire after the sale is over.

IMHO, when you discount a product, or order, you want to show that on the order.
They might come back later and ask why the price is higher next month.

Hi Dave,

Thanks

One of the brands we sell has discounted 30% off all bags, + 15% coupon at checkout, I wanted to reduce all items by 30% that apply, then in the list price, include that price that the items were. Is there a way of doing this instead of manually each one at a time?

Hi there,

If i download the inventory excel file, and make the price changes faster on there, is there a method through admin to re-upload?

Hi, no, but I believe Mike @ www.dlss.ca might have something for that.
