I set up an Affiliate link and when setup it says:

"To set up your affiliate link, use any of the cart product / category pages, for instance products.php?PARTNER=Facebook

So if my link to products is https://www.mywesbite.co.uk/products.php?cat=Sunglasses do i note the affiliate link as:

https://www.mywesbite.co.uk/products.php?cat=Sunglasses&PARTNER=Facebook because

https://www.mywesbite.co.uk/products.php?cat=Sunglasses?PARTNER=Facebook with the question mark doesnt work with attributes

Ok, so this is querystrings 101

Querystrings are a way of sending extra data or parameters through the URL.
They are always formed as keyed pairs.
The first one is preceded by a question mark and then others follow separated by the ampersand.

http://www.mysite.com/somepage.php?cat=Sunglasses&partner=facebook&something=else
