Our children's theatre company has been offering free streaming events these days, and we want to keep them free, but introduce a voluntary payment into the booking process.

I know I could add a donation page, and that's fine, but I'm wondering about the best way to place this within the flow of the ticket "purchase". Can a donation field be included in the confirmation page, or somewhere along the process?

Hi John,
Why not add product options with the options set with different prices?
Would that work for you?

Yes, Phil, that might work, but I'm already using product options as a means of offering different show times.

Also, I'd rather let the patron choose an arbitrary amount.

I may be over-thinking this. Perhaps just putting a link to a donation page on the confirmation page will do it.

Or how about setting the price to say "1" and then adding a "Multiplier Option". To do that, create a new "Text Input" option and check the "Multiplier Option" box. Then the base price of 1 will be multiplied by whatever they put in for the option.

I'll have to look at that...I never noticed the multiplier option.
