There is a growing problem that we need to address. In the last year mobile users have outnumbered desktop users on our site, and the pattern continues. Meanwhile, the bounce rate is increasing for mobile. I suspect part of the problem is the filter bars taking up the area "above the fold" in many cases when viewing products.asp and search.asp.
I am not a power user and can only hack my way through solving problems like this.
A media query takes care of hiding them on products.asp, but that leaves the functions unavailable to the mobile user, and there are bound to be consequences. I would be happy to pay someone to handle the css or whatever it takes to make these function like a "hamburger" icon we're using for our megamenu on mobile devices.
The search.asp problem looks like it's going to be much more involved. Once again, would be glad to pay someone to solve the problem for us.
