Hi,
I am trying to setup a clone shop were I can get paid in a different currency (USD instead of Euros).
My main country setting has to remain France for the shipping costs calculations and I have set the currency to USD in the currency format for France in the list of the countries.
But it doesn't work. Paypal still believes it receive euros and not USD.

If you set the following in your vsadmin/includes.php file I believe this will do what you need...

$orcurrencyisosymbol='USD';

Now Paypal knows that my prices are in USD.
But DHL and UPS shipping cost calculators still give me results in Euros.
Is there a way to make them convert the shipping cost to USD?

I really don't think there is a way around this I'm afraid as the shipping carriers are going to calculate shipping in the currency of the origin. I really think you may have to implement Weight or Price based shipping.

Actually, I have found a workaround by applying a "discount" to the shipping ($discountshippingxxx=) based on the currency conversion ratio.
A little cumbersome but it does the job.
