Just a thought I had the other day. As the Product Admin is also now used for the Articles feature I think it would be best to also reflect this in the wording within the admin.

For the main dropdown change wording from Product Admin to Product & Articles Admin then below that once in the product admin section also reflect the same below to Product & Articles Administration

Good suggestion Steve,

The simple solution is to open: vsadmin/inc/languageadmin.php
and CTRL+F to find and edit these entries:

$yyLMPrAd='Product & Article Admin';
$yyDBMaPI='Manage product and article page information';
$yyPrdAdm='Product & Article Administration';
$yyListPd='List Pages';
$yyLLProA='product & article admin';
$yyYouMod='You are modifying the page';
$yyYouCln='You are cloning the page';
$yyEdPrd='Edit products & articles';
$yyNewPr='New Page';

These edits will be overwritten by Updaters. I use Beyond Compare to modify new version releases.

It would be nice if Steve's suggestion was adopted and the languageadmin.php changes made permanent.

Thanks Gary

I think it reflects more the already great product that ECT is. As ever always evolving thanks to Vince & Co & input from users like your good self

I have also edited the three following lines to read

$yyPrId='Product or Article ID';
$yyPrName='Product or Article Name';
$yyLMStAd='Store Admin & CMS';

As the Articles are part & parcel of the Product Admin, upon first entering Product Admin, would it be at all possible for the table row background colour for all Articles to be a different highlight so that they are easy to notice, eg: a slight hint of green or possibly one that a store owner could choose via the adminstyle.css file or, where used, the ectadmincustom.css?

Good idea and this is done now.
I've also added to the Admin Products Search Menu so you can search for Articles or NOT Articles.

The changes are in the updater in the files...
vsadmin/inc/incprods.asp/php
vsadmin/adminstyle.css

Morning Vince

I notice the original part of my suggestion possibly hasn't been implemented.

Hi Steve
But it makes the menu too wide so it wraps onto the next line.
