Running a free shipping weekend on orders $50 and over; some orders above $50 are being charged small USPS shipping charges. Any ideas?

More info:
ASP v7.5.2
Deleted first free shipping discount and attempted another one. Scope is grayed out on "Assign to Individual products and categories" so now I have to assign categories, etc.

Shipping discounts are always global, but you can make products Ship Free Exempt.
Could the small USPS charge be the handling? If so, could you try the parameter...
freeshippingincludeshandling=TRUE

I don’t have handling charges set. The charges show up in the checkout process as USPS Priority Mail.

In that case can you to go to the shipping admin -> shipping methods and click on modify for the USPS shipping methods. Can you make sure "FSA" (free shipping applies) is set for all the shipping methods.

I'm assuming you mean for the methods we use, which in our case is only two; Priority Mail (Domestic) and Priority Mail International. The domestic is set to FSA.

I had a look at the admin and there didn't seem to be a free shipping discount defined, so I created one and it all seems to be working ok. I've set it to "EXPIRED" for now as I don't know if you want free shipping, but do you want to unset the expired and give it a go and see if it works for you?

I had deleted the one I had because it wasn’t working. I’ll try it again , but if that’s the only thing you found I don’t have a lot of faith in it.

Seems to be working. Only difference between what I had been using and the one you set up was number available and minimum/maximum quantities.
