All of a sudden I am getting this error for Square and the user cannot enter their credit card info.
Refused to display 'https://pci-connect.squareup.com/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.
My X-Frame-Option is not set to sameorigin.

I have the same problem with Square. I did just update the API and it did not fix the problem. When you go to checkout, the form fields to enter the information are not live. boltautomationparts.com

Hi John, it sounds like you may have updated the API used, from within your square account and that's not going too fix the issue if that's what you've done. You would need to run the ECT updater package on your site. https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/updaters.asp Thanks, David

OK, I completed the ECT Update too. Previously I had only completed the Square API. So far it appears that fixed the problem. I will go through each page to make sure, but hopefully I am good shape now. Thanks!

This issue may not completely pertain to the discussion in this thread but there are already several threads involving Square, I didn't want to start a new one.
I created a new Square account and made a sample purchase in Sandbox mode. I received this message after submitting a test purchase:
"Unexpected token 'S', "SUCCESS:XF"... is not valid JSON"
I tried this with Live mode as well but received the same error message when submitting the payment. Not sure what this is?

Vince, Thanks for the reply. I was able to resolve the issue. I came across David's posting at https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=115043 and learned about the API version update. I applied the latest 7.6.2 updater and that resolved the issue. I just wasn't up-to-date on my updaters. By the way, kudos for the recent upgrades. These updaters just keep getting better and better. The new admin is very impressive! Happy customer

Hey Vince, can you tell us the latest version of the API we can / should be using with Square?
My Square account shows I'm pretty far behind, but I didn't want to change it without knowing which one I might need to be updated to?
Production API version 2021-09-15 (23 versions behind)

When I notice a new version, I just click to use it. It seems like that have quite a few of these updates to their API.
