Items in wish list causing issues.

MAXCARTITEMS is showing in the admin. But they are saying that they are only ordering a few items.

steven vaccaro Ecommerce Template Guru USA 1055 Posts	Posted - 12/28/2022 : 07:32:27 I have updated this setting to 60, "You can limit the maximum items a customer can add to cart." But why should the wish list cause a max item issue with the cart? He is only putting about 10 things in the cart from his wish list.
steven vaccaro Ecommerce Template Guru USA 1055 Posts	Posted - 01/25/2023 : 13:29:28 Id like to resolve this, too many of our customers have dozes of items in their wish lists and when they try to purchase a couple of items from the list, they are blocked. A bot should only be blocked when the cart has the maximum number of items. Not a combined total of wish list and cart items. For example a customer that buys often has 90 items in his wishlist, he tried to purchase 3 things and was blocked, that doesn't seem correct. Please help.
Vince Administrator 42828 Posts	Posted - 01/26/2023 : 02:29:00 Hi Steven By default the number is 1000 so even if you wanted to be conservative and set the number to 500 that would give plenty for the wish list and the cart, no? If you set this value to 60 and we did just count the items in the cart you are still going to have problems with someone who adds 61 items. This feature has caught many of them that are somehow getting through the back door. Moving the number up, lets them back in. Shouldn't this block, block people with carts that have 60 items, and not block people with 60 items in the wish list, and then purchase 1 item?
