I added $linkcartproducts=TRUE; but the image is not clickable.

If the suggestions below don't help you can you post the url so we can take a look please?

If you're using Wordpress that would be $GLOBALS['linkcartproducts']=TRUE;

If you're not using Wordpress can you make sure you don't have $linkcartproducts=FALSE; listed further down in your vsadmin/includes.php file.
