Shiptheory Product Values and Weights

Posted - 07/14/2023 : 01:40:27 Hi, We are currently running PHP v7.5.7 and have noticed that the product value and weights do not seem to be taking dependent options into account for the individual products resulting in the customs declarations printing with incorrect values. The total order weight and value is correct in Shiptheory and matches the totals shown in our ECT dashboard. In Shiptheory at the bottom of each order window it lists the SKU, Name, Price and Weight of the products that make up that order and it's this that the customs declaration gets it's values from. As an example we have a product that has the following values: Price: 16.67 Product Weight: 0.281 Then we have a dependent option: Price Diff: 21.83 Weight Diff: 1.82 This makes the product price 38.50 and the weight 2.101 In the above example it shows as the following in the Shiptheory product listing: Price 16.67 Weight: 0.281 The Shiptheory the total order value and weight is correct. Please would it be possible to change this so the individual products take the dependent option values into account? Regards, David

Those channel_shipservice_name changes are actually only in the ASP v7.6 updater at the moment as I was waiting for confirmation that all is good. I'll ask David how it all went. dbdave ECT Moderator USA 10468 Posts	Posted - 07/17/2023 : 06:57:56 Hi Vince, yes it worked. I have not embraced the ShipTheory service yet though. It seems they do not currently support US weights and measures. Our commercial (very popular) scales do not work with the program. They have a bug in UPS shipping that needs to be fixed and a few other issues. As they emerge in the US market, we may consider them. For now, we have worked with Ship Station to stay with them a bit longer. Thanks, David
