On occasion we have had the (card entry) fields not showing for a customer. We have never been able to replicate this problem, but we may have discovered a clue just now. Usually we tell the customer to use a different device, but we didn't get a chance to talk to this customer today. We saw where she dumped her cart and placed the order successfully right away, after leaving a message on our chat system. Looking closely at both orders, we can see both have the same user agent. Chrome 116 on windows 10. This leads us to believe she used the same pc, or (likely) laptop. We think laptop because we use two different services to translate the IP info into readable details right in the admin and that was the "bingo" moment perhaps. Here is the IP info for the bad order quote: IP Info - Ringgold, Georgia 30736 US North America broadband wired ga.us University System Of Georgia georgia department of edu
IP Data: Ringgold, Georgia United States Provider: PEACHNET-AS3480 Postal: 30736
Here is the IP info for the good order quote: IP Info - Albany, Georgia 31721 US North America mobile mobile myvzw.com Verizon Business verizon communications
IP Data: Montgomery, Alabama United States Provider: CELLCO-PART Postal: 36108
So we are pretty sure she works at a school (edu) and was on the schools network and likely they are blocking payment fields and forms. We believe she tethered her laptop to her phone (Verizon) and it worked. If any of you have trouble with payment forms not showing, ask your customer if they are connected to a corporate or government network where some things may be blocked. Thanks, David
