I have custom fields set up in my Product Details which I can also access via Quick Entry in the admin. Is it possible to have those output when downloading a CSV file?

Hi David, This post in the updater forum https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=115349 mentions the following.
quote:
If the parameter numcustomcolumns is set to define the number of custom columns in the products table in the database, then this will also be used in the CSV download page so you get an inventory dump of these columns also.
numcustomcolumns=5
$numcustomcolumns=5;

I'm just not sure if it will allow upload of changes to the custom fields, as the post there mentions download only. I suppose you could test it.

Personally, I use Mike's csv utilities and with that, you can download all product columns, including additional columns you might add with custom mods.
It allows for download and upload. http://dlss.ca/proddetail.asp?prod=Adv_Product_CSV

Thanks,
David
