I haven't been using my ecommerce site for quite a while, and now, when I try to alter items in the product admin, I'm encountering weird issues. Products I delete reappear, categories I disable appear on my store page, items are added to the cart, and then disappear when one moves to check-out. Basically, the store doesn't work. Some of this may be user error, but I think something is quite messed up.

The interface seems intact, so I'm thinking there's something wrong with the database.

My service provider moved to new servers since I last used the store, and I'm suspecting that something may have gone awry with the move. But I have the feeling I will need to give them more info if I want them to sort this out.

What's my first step to diagnose this kind of thing? Should I try using the repair database function of CPanel?

Store is https://www.ragandbone.ca/boxoffice/

Okay, more oddity...it seems that the alterations I make are taking effect, but what I'm seeing is being cached. If I return to the store after a bit, the changes have taken effect.

If I view the page on another computer, I see the correct info, but if I then edit on that machine, the same problem reappears. I'm thinking all this must have something to do with the CDN my provider is running. Sound possible?

Hi John
This really does sound like caching and if it's just started happening it's likely that your host has added some caching element to your website. Have you been on to them about this?

Vince

No Vince, I'll contact them today. I wanted another opinion on this before I got into the weeds with them. Thanks.
