is it possible to show more than 1 option on the shipping estimator?

I have customers that are getting confused, thinking we don't offer any other options ( for example NextDay) and don't go further than the first page and bail out of the cart process.

The shipping estimator is designed to show your best shipping rate to show customers how low shipping can be. For the full range of shipping options you have to go through checkout though I'm afraid. You could maybe put a note above the checkout though explaining that all the shipping options will be displayed later in the process. Or maybe use the $xxCoStp1 parameter to display a message only on checkout step 1, such as...

$xxCoStp1="All shipping options including Next Day displayed later in the checkout process.";

(But better than my wording of course. )

It sounds like you are already using that parameter so you need to combine the text. One example would be...

$xxCoStp1='Step 1 of 3 : Proceed to confirm your address details<br><br>All shipping options including Next Day displayed later in the checkout process.';
