Hello there!

This time of year, I need to frequently scan my store products for ones that are out of stock and need replenishment or need to be removed from the list of products visible to customers. In the Product Admin page, I know how to get a list of Out of Stock products or a list of Visible Products, but I haven't yet figured out how to get a list of products that meet two criteria -- Visible + Out of Stock. Is there a way to do this?

That is possible. In the product admin page choose Visible Products > List Products, then in the drop down next to the List Products button choose Sort Stock Desc and all out of stock products will be at the bottom of the list (or Sort Stock ASC if you want them to show top of the list).
