I created a copy of the products.asp page and added <% explicitid="28" %> just above <!--#include file="vsadmin/inc/incproducts.asp"-->. When I open the page in my browser, it's showing me all of the product and not the products for the specified category. I've confirmed that the product category is setup with only product assigned to that category. I'd send you a link to view but the site is still in development and not accessible on the web yet.

Hi

That should be

<%
explicitid=28
%>
<!--#include file="vsadmin/inc/incproducts.asp"-->

...without the quotation marks.

Sorry, I actually tried the quotes after the following didn't work:

<%
explicitid=28
%>
<!--#include file="vsadmin/inc/incproducts.asp"-->

That should be fine then. Can you check in the category admin page that 28 is the correct identifier and it's set so that "Products can be added to this category"?

There really shouldn't be more to it than that - do you get the same if you change the identifier from 28 to something else?

No matter which id I use, the page displays all products.

Hi Papa, that can happen for a couple of reasons one being the product name is already in use, or the category name is duplicated or there are special symbols being using in the category name. Can you give us a link to the site or page.

The static page name is spa_face_rests.asp. The Category Name is Spa Face Rests. The name is not in use by any other category.
