Hi! I have had mixed advice on using Gmail mail servers instead of godaddy's. Some people say its not possible, others indicate that is should be. Has anyone else on a Godaddy shared hosting plan had success using Gmail mail servers via PHPMailer?

I also found this post where removing PHPmailer was the solution to get things working https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=106957

I imagine Godaddy haven't been able to help?

Yes, some of the conflicting info has come from various reps at GoDaddy. I figured that someone in the forum may have some some more experience with it, but maybe not. If I can get some sort of definitive answer or get it working I will share what I learn here. Thanks!
