We have a large site (currently 178,246 items) where everything is listed as having 1 in stock. It's never more than 1. When something sells, we restock it and set it back to 1. Tonight I noticed about 500 items had stock numbers ranging from 33 to over 1000. Does anyone have an idea what could cause this?

I can't think how that could happen automatically - could it be someone made a mistake in the Quick Entry feature that went unnoticed?

A few typos would make sense but 500 or so wouldn't. I've changed the password at this point and I'll keep an eye on it to see if it happens again.
