We have a retail shop front which is incorporated with our online store, and we carry around 10,000 products. we need to keep our inventory 100% correct so when we process an instore order we do it through Ecommerce back end and manually process an order.

The problem is however that we cant remember all 10,000 product ID's so Daniel from E-com Mods previously added a SKU field to the platform (this is now incorporated as standard) and then wrote additional code so that when the SKU was scanned into the Product ID field it would automatically = the associated ProductID and change it accordingly this making it quick and fast to process orders instore.

I am not sure if the current platform allows for this or if extra code needs to be added, can someone please let me know.

If the extra code does need to be added maybe it can be something that is a permanent fixture going forward.

Very nice... Would be nice to also barcode support for inventory management as well as sales... so as to close the loop.
