HTML missing from short description

Marshall Ecommerce Template Guru USA 1916 Posts	Posted - 03/10/2019 : 07:00:20 v6.9.6 I just noticed where I enclosed the short descriptions in <p>...</p> and used <strong>...</strong> the tags do not appear in the short description. The <p> is not that critical, but the <strong> would be nice. Any idea what would cause this? I have Froala installed if it matters. It simply goes <div class="proddescription">description text</div> The detail product descriptions are fine. I thought it only stripped out the tags when descriptions are used in the meta description. I have Froala installed in both as well as having $htmleditor="froala"; in both includes. ZERO 0 = NO shortdescription. Also removes all HTML formatting entered into CK Editor Short Description box. Gary

I had it set at 300. <EDIT> It is 1:15 AM and I just realized why it removes the HTML. Otherwise, it might break off a closing tag and affect the rest of the page's display. Now it makes sense.
