We just received the following maintenance notice from ICDSoft, our hosting server:

[red]The maintenance will occur as follows:
Start time: Mar 13, 2019, 03:00 EST
End time: Mar 13, 2019, 06:00 EST
Expected service outage: About 60 minutes within the maintenance window

Impact: During this maintenance, the servers will be moved to new, more powerful machines. Also, the user space will be converted to a 64-bit environment.

We advise that you check your site after the upgrade to make sure that it is working properly. Possible issues may arise with modules/extensions/binaries that are compiled for a 32-bit environment. For example, PHP extensions (.so files) located on your hosting space might be affected. If you have such extensions, we advise that you switch to an extension that is installed server-wide, or search for the appropriate files for a 64-bit environment, which you can use after the conversion.
[/red]

Will there be any issues with ECT php software?

I am running Ecommerce Plus PHP v7.0.3 with no mods.

Any advice is most appreciated.

Hi Doug

I can't see there will be any problem with your store. Might be a good excuse to make a back up of everything before Wednesday, not because there should be any issues but it's always good practice when important changes are made involving a store.

Thanks Andy. Good idea to do a complete backup prior to that event.
Will certainly do so.
