When I have text formatted in "Long Description" it will not allow to save.

I have links to vimeo, I have to remove to save changed product page.

it will not accept changes anymore after updating to latest version PHP v7.0.3

I cannot change number of products in stock unless I remove all formating in "Long Description"

I cannot put a new product with Vimeo dispalying

Are you possibly using the froala editor in your admin, and if so, can you paste the code you are using to display the Vimeo?

Hi

I've seen a similar thing happen when the database reached its max-size limit, could that be the case here?

Hi Ed,
I've experienced similar issues to what Andy has described or it could be a post problem which occurs when there is a large amount of data.
Create a php.ini file and upload it to the vsadmin directory.
Add the following to it:

post_max_size = 256M
max_input_vars = 5000

Ed, you mention ...
quote:
I have links to vimeo, I have to remove to save changed product page.
which makes me think that the Vimio <iframe>code snippet</iframe> could possibly be triggering the ModSecurity module in cPanel, interpreting that code as a “cross site scripting (XSS) attack” and preventing you from saving alterations.

To solve that issue, take a look at Solution 1 in this post >>

I am not using any froala editor I go directly to product admin page.

I cannot even change the number of items unless I remove all formatting and Vimeo links in in the description window.

when I try to click to save it takes me to …./vsadmin/adminprods.php which looks like first page the home page with all removed formatting, like the removed CSS version

what is the data base size limit ? how to reduce it ?

I noticed it just after I loaded the latest update.

Is there any other way to change the inventory number. like logging in somewhere to data base

what do I do with this I need to update at least the inventory number ?

Can you see if this only happens with products with vimeo code or all products as that will help narrow down the problem?

Also it there is any text formatting like left. justify etc.

I did the php.ini file

post_max_size = 256M
max_input_vars = 5000

it did not work, after loggin it was showing under the vsadmin/admi.php like my home page with all the formatting removed like plain text and pictures

now I am getting

I wait and wait and it does not let me in. What do I do ?

I would check with your host to see if you have reached any size limit restrictions on the database.

If the admin login is disabled you can upload the password reset file https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/troubleshooting.asp#php6 - make sure you delete it after use.

Can you click on my name and send me an email with the control panel login details and I'll see what I can find?

Before I do this I wonder if I can try to create new data base.

Will it start the site from scratch ?

Will that thing reset all ?

Or do I need to upload the whole thing again ?

I tried to talk to my hosting company they have access to the site, it does not look they are helping except giving me a few suggestion which did not work.

Creating a new database sounds a bit drastic and a bit of a last resort really, it would mean starting over again, except for the design side of things.

I emailed you login info

Does making a new data base will make it to start from beggining.

Or do I need also to clean the folder and uplaod all again.

I was following up by email and answered your questions there hopefully but making a new database would mean starting from scratch so best to get me the error log as suggested and sort out the current one. If you were to switch to a new design you can use the existing database for that.
