Hi folks,
I'm using servelink to host, and Authorize.net for my www.neovapeshop.com site
I'm set up just to authorize orders when they come in, but don't capture the cash until I am sure I can fill the order.
When I use the Capture or Void functionality, the store returns a weird looking version of the order. The font goes huge, and in the lower right I get a big 500 server error.
I went to servelink and they said my problem is in the store, not on their server set up.
Interestingly, authorize.net does process the void or capture command from the store properly, just doesn't report it back to the store properly when I execute it.

Andy, I see I am on version 7.05 and still getting the 500 Error. Is that version supposed to have the fix?

I am getting this same error. Hosting at Godaddy on Windows Plesk. The void works and registers at Authorize.net, but I get an error saying to reference the logfiles on my Plesk hosting server. Please advise.

This is the error I get when I try to capture or void a transaction...
Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

After I void a transaction, where does it show that it was voided in the order history?
Also, my client is only wanting to "Authorize" the order at Authorize.net, but then wants to "Capture" a different amount later when he calculates shipping. Is there a way to do this? When we change the amount in the admin area, and click "Inform Authorize.net", it gives an error.

Hi Glen When you Void the transaction you get to choose the status you want to set the order to after voiding. But there isn't anything specifically in the order history to say that it was voided apart from that it's status will be, say, Cancelled. Some payment processors let you capture up to a given percentage above the authorized amount, but Authorize.net only allows you to capture up to the authorize amount I'm afraid.
