Here's a weird order & payment situation! (The Merchant is using a ship by payment amount system)
A customer orders merchandise from a 7.05 PHP cart, puts the ship to information - a PO Box - into the Billing information, then uses PayPal Express to charge her PayPal account for the purchase (and her address and contact info is different from what was used in the ECT billing fields) ... the funds are successfully processed, but the merchant doesn't want to ship to the PO Box (in the EXT billing info) because USPS charges extra for delivering to a PO Box, so she tries to call the person the order is to be shipped to to get her proper shipping address, but the phone number and email address don't work!
She's calling PayPal to ask about the strange arrangement and to get the contact info for the person whose PayPal account was used to pay for the order.
The first strange thing I noticed is that there is NO corroboration between the ECT order info and the PayPal payment info.
And Shouldn't (or couldn't) the ECT cart REQUIRE a shipping address if the Billing information uses a PO Box?
And lastly, the merchant asked if there is a way to prevent this in the future due to all the time it took her to figure out the disparity between the EXT order and the PayPal charge.
Thanks!
