Category CSV upload

In order to support more and more country specific websites it currently requires a huge manual effort to add all the categories which is then difficult to maintain. It would be of great benefit to add the CVS upload feature and make it much easier to launch and maintain new websites. John

He said he'd look into it, but I never heard back after that, although I did send a follow up in October of 18. So, I think they're iffy.

I expect one day the asp folks will be forced to move to something else... aspx, .php? I have a number of mods and add ons - one day I expect I will move to .php but I'm certainly not prepared for that now.

Posted - 10/17/2019 : 02:06:32 The suggestion forum is for ways to improve the features of ECT and would defer back to the original request rather than debate whether an obsolete third party mod still works or not since it should be perfectly obvious that having this feature built-in is the far superior option and having everyone's support for this would help make this happen more easily. Thought it might be handy to avoid that 'huge manual effort' you were talking about. Personally I'd rather ECT spent development resources on features where solutions don't currently exist, rather than duplicating work that's already been done, but if you want to wait and see if it becomes a native feature then you can certainly do that too.
