We are having an issue with our cart on mahpba.org.
An example can be seen here: https://www.mapga.org/proddetail.php?prod=2020Halfpage.
When the page loads, the product option initially works.
Once you make a selection, that option and all the others are changed to undefined.
If you try to select the item at this point, you are prompted to make a selection.
If you refresh the page at this time, the selection you made shows, and you can continue with your purchase.

The cart itself still works, just the dropdown has become dodgy.
The site was moved to a new server back in october, but we did not see the issue at that time.
We are running php 7.2, with Ecommerce Plus PHP v7.0.4.

Thank you!
-Kurt

Hi Kurt,
I think perhaps you need to upload the latest version of the ectcart.js file to the following location

https://www.mapga.org/wp-content/themes/mapga/js/ectcart.js

So if you get that file from the version 7.0.4 updater and upload it to the directory wp-content/themes/mapga/js

I would also upload the ectcart.css file from the 7.0.4 updater as well to the directory wp-content/themes/mapga/css/

Can you try doing that please and post back if you still have the problem.

Hi Phil,
I don't have the original install download. I must have cleaned house too thoroughly.
I do have a few installs of ECT, so I copied the ectcart.js from another installation that is not having this issue, and copied it over.
It was the same version, from 3/12/2019, and file size 30,344.

Even though it must be the same version, I overwrote it with the other one. No surprise, it made no difference.

Should I update to the next version before we try anything else, or should we try to fix first?

I would just apply the latest updater in full

Will do.
I am sure that will work.
I will post back if not.

Thank you!

Hi Phil,
I applied the update to version 7.1.8
There is no difference.
Something seems to be breaking between the client side and the server side.

Upon refreshing the page, the values are restored.

Looking at the console, it does not look like there is an ajax call or anything.

Not sure where to go with it.

What should I try next?

Hi Kurt,
Thanks for sending those details over, I've taken a look and made a few changes, but it hasn't sorted out the issue.

I'll take another look tomorrow when I have a moment.

Hi Kurt,
I believe I've found the problem and fixed it, could you test all the products and let me know if everything's okay please?

I've also altered the locations of the css/ectcart.css and the js/ectcart.js files in the header.php file so the path to both these files is now
https://www.mapga.org/css/ectcart.css
and
https://www.mapga.org/js/ectcart.js

which is really where they should be, so the next time you update just upload those two folders to root.
