Im trying to download my details using the dump details function, but get a php error.

allowed memory size 33554432 bytes exhausted, (tried to allocate 23469664) in
inc/incfunctions.php on line 1825

What exact setting in myphp would I need to change, so I do not get this error? Also could increasing hurt anything else?

Hi Steven,
If you're using cpanel it's quite likely there's a feature in there where you can increase the download limit.

If there isn't I would show the error to your host and see what they suggest. Usually you can override the PHP settings using a php.ini file in root.

Hi Steve,

If you have WHM this is fairly easy.

I'm pretty up to date and I do seem to remember it does vary depending on version but...

Log into WHM and go to Home » Software » MultiPHP INI Editor
then from the dropdown select the PHP version you are running for the site in question.

Then scroll down and look for memory_limit
The default is 128M.
Try 256M if yours is set to 128 and see if that fixes it.

I have mine set to 2048M as we have a pretty busy server but try setting this higher and click apply.

Before you do this you will need to check how much memory you have installed on your server to ensure your not trying to allocate more than's available.

Regards,
David

Hi Steve,

Just try 56M and see if that fixes it.

If you set it too high it might causes issues elsewhere depending on how much you have installed.
