I just upgraded from v6.5.4 to 7.1, and now I'm getting script errors when trying to add a new Text Option.

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e10'
No value given for one or more required parameters.
/vsadmin/inc/incprodopts.asp, line 723

Apparently I'm missing some fields in some of my database tables. I cleared two errors by adding the columns described in the error OptClass, and optPlaceholder

I looked into the "updatestore.asp" file to see if those tables had been added in the update script. Nope. Nothing...

Could someone email a default copy of the Access database so I can compare that with my current one so I can make sure I have all the tables and columns within those tables??

Yep, I fixed it, by adding the missing columns.

NOW, I can't set the Field Height to 3.....its staying at 1, and I can't find the UPDATE query to see what db table and column that gets posted to..

Hmmm...

The best thing is to get a copy of the updater and run that. It should install any missing columns.

David, I did that. Those missing columns weren't in the script.....

Anyhow, I fixed that issue by adding the missing tables manually

I successfully created a Text Option, assigned it to a product, but its not appearing on the product detail page....

Check your includes, and the proddetail.asp page itself for the following parameter and make sure options is in your list.

detailpagelayout="navigation, checkoutbutton, productimage, productid, manufacturer, sku, productname, discounts, instock, description, listprice, price, quantity, currency, dateadded, options, addtocart, previousnext, emailfriend, reviews, socialmedia"
