Gift Certificates

tgorski Ecommerce Template Expert USA 910 Posts	Posted - 01/05/2021 : 14:15:01 So We have a client where over the Christmas season had MANY Gift Certificates purchased. The problem is that a handful of them (not all) never received their code in an email. Upon investigating, our client did receive an order for the gift certificate and did receive the money, but no gift certificate was ever issued (not listed in the active gift certificates, or anywhere) and the email was never sent to the receiving person. When people called and complained, they made manual gift certificates and told them the code to use. Any ideas? Tim Gorski

tgorski Ecommerce Template Expert USA 910 Posts	Posted - 01/06/2021 : 05:55:36 Nope... not in spam folders. A lot of them were asked to check that. Additionally, the Gift Certificates on the people that said they never got it were checked in the "Orders Admin > Gift Certificates > All Gift Certificates list and they were NOT there as well, BUT the order for it shows in the "View Orders" section & they also received the money from the order.
