Database problem?

Marshall Ecommerce Template Guru USA 1916 Posts	Posted - 06/02/2022 : 05:49:32 I have a product, let us call it XYZ with utilizes ALT IDs when selecting options. The <title> and meta description for the XYZ page is <title>XYZ</title> <meta name="description" content="XYZ available in 9 sizes"> The evening of May 31, I was uploading a lot of CSV files and most were timing out, and even small smalls were taking and abnormally long time to process. Now, on June 1, I noticed this for the XYZ product. <title>48" XYZ</title> <meta name="description" content="48" XYZ"> The title and description is the product name of one of the ALT IDs. However, in the product admin for XYZ and the XYZ ALT ID, everything is as it should be with the correct title and meta description. Even in downloading the product section, everything is as it should be. Coincidentally, this section of products was one of the ones timing out on CSV upload. I ran the database utility, but it did not solve the problem, And the problem does not affect all the products in the store, just certain sections. The problem also does not appear to affect making a purchase of any of the screwy titled pages. The difference in the product IDs is this is the page's ID GBS-1-12-SS and the title is coming from this ALT ID GBS-1-12-SS-SM-48. They are in the same parent category and when I download the "filtered inventory" CSV file, everything is normal. QUICK UPDATE I reassigned the ALT IDs to a different primary category than the parent category and the problem went away. But when I put them back in the same primary category, the problem returned. This only happened after the night I was having trouble with the CSV upload timing out making me think that caused the problem. Marshall Ecommerce Template Guru USA 1916 Posts	Posted - 06/03/2022 : 05:53:42 Vince, it is more like 20+ different parents to ALT IDs that are doing this. But as I said, assigning a different primary category to the ALT IDs than the parents' primary category, solves the problem. And the CSV files I was uploading when it kept timing out all dealt with the ALT IDs, not the parents. Let me look into it a little further as between you and Dave, I have a little direction to explore. I rather not take up your time if I discover there is an easy solve.
