Hi,

I have 3 ECT sites on the same server and can run the Database Utility for 2 of them.
However, the other says 'You do not have permission to view this page'
I'm guessing this is some permission issue but can you give me some suggestions as to what might cause this and how to fix?

Hi Steve
You need to be logged in with the main admin login to use the Database Utility, not a secondary login.

Hi Vince,

I’m not seeing an option to create a secondary login so I’m thinking I’m inadvertently logged in as a secondary user.
Trouble is, I can’t remember the username of the main login!

Is there a way I can find this out in phpmyadmin perhaps? Or some other way?

Store Admin > change password, is where you will find the secondary logins.

Hi David,

Because there is no option for ‘New Secondary Admin login’, that’s why I think I’m somehow logged in as a secondary admin. As I can’t recall the user for main admin, I’m not sure how to change this. If I follow the password reset procedure maybe I can change/fix this?

Yes, that sounds like it is the case. So do use the password reset file and that should get you back in as the primary login.

That did it.
For some bizarre reason I had a secondary login with the same user name as the main but was logged in as secondary...
