Hello Everybody,

This question is for the ones still using Dreamweaver to connect to their sites.
I'm using Dreamweaver and have tried all the options to connect to my site
but I still cannot connect to it.

I have a hosting package with Servelink and I know many of you use Servelink
if you use Dreamweaver and have your site hosted at Servelink, can you tell me
how do you connect yo your site. :

By the way, I;m using Dreamweaver CS6

Firstly make sure you are using you ftp credentials that you setup with Servelink.

I host with them and they have been great at timely and helpful communication.

Lastly, I'd like to note as for myself, I always keep the localhost testing environment separated from the live environment so if I mess something up I don't break the site. Then after testings are fully completed I simply upload through my fav ftp program

That is what I don't understand, I'm using the same FTP credentials from Servelink
and I can connect via FTP with no problems but i cannot connect using Dreamweaver CS6

with the same settings recommendations that Servelink told me: Passive FTP and FTP over SSL/TLS (explicit encryption)
but still I cannot connect to my site with Dreamweaver CS6

Has anyone had this same problem with Dreamweaver CS6?

Did you look at the site ftp logs within dreamweaver for the error received?

In the Site window, choose Advanced > FTP log.
