Installed this as well as Mike's sitemap, I am a real numbskull but this really is as easy as mike say's it is!
Accepted by google within 6 minutes!

This Add-on is get and easy to install, just as the instruction stated. After installing and then going to google to submit it, it was done. Quick and painless. We have pruchased a few of mod's and add-on's from Mike and they all have worked as promised and was very easy to get up and running.

Fabulous mod and well worth $25 for the time saved in generating this data for Google.

If you haven't done it yet, this has to be the most efficient way to do it IMHO.

I am a neophyte at this and began by doing more than I needed to after I easily downloaded and up loaded Mike's program. It was so easy I was shocked and thought I had more work to do. Mike quickly came to the rescue after I contacted him.. Basically all I needed to do was put in my static pages and that was it. Thanks Mike for a great program.

Hi Mike,

Will the sitemap work for auto discovery? For example, once I submit the link to my xml sitemap, will it automatically reflect changes made to the website, product pages, and etc.?

Or is it a script that has to be run to reflect changes?

The reason I ask is because using the robots.txt file, you can tell search engines where your sitemap is located. This is important for MSN and others that do not offer tools similar to Google and Yahoo!.

P.S. if anyone is wondering what I'm talking about, you can add your xml sitemap location to your robots.txt file by adding the following line:

SITEMAP http://yourstoreurl.com/your-xml-sitemap.php

changing the above URL to reflect your site and your sitemap.

Yes, this file works for autodiscovery. It allows at this point to be accessible to Google, Yahoo (both of which you can submit manually at this point) MSN, and ASK.com

But just so you are aware - Autodiscovery means that Search engines and webots are able to find and pull your sitemaps protocol file (this addon creates it) from your site to index it. It does not mean that the file autoupdates. If you make changes to your products it is suggested you generate a new file and upload it.
