Once you have created your account with Moneris you need to log in to your Moneris account and under the Admin menu, click on "Moneris Checkout Config."
Once there you should see a button, "Create Profile" and click on that.
You should get a message that the profile was created successfully an will be presented with the Checkout Profile default settings. Some of these are optional but some need to be changed in order for the integration to work as intended.
Under, "Checkout Type" you need to change that to, "I have my custom order form and want to use Moneris simply for payment processing."
Under, "Order Confirmation" you need to choose, "Use Own Page."
When you have reviewed the options for your Checkout Profile, click Save and you should see your profile listed and an ID in the column, "CHECKOUT_ID". You need to enter this ID along with the Store ID and API Token from when you opened your account in the ECT Admin → Payment Providers page for Moneris Checkout.
You can test the system with the dummy visa card number 4111 1111 1111 1111 and any expiry date in the future.
